1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tao Fate, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. About the Service

Tao Fate is a cultural exploration and entertainment platform that provides personalized destiny readings based on traditional Chinese metaphysical systems, including BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny), I Ching divination, Five Elements analysis, Chinese Zodiac, and daily fortune readings.

All readings, predictions, and AI-generated analyses are for entertainment and cultural exploration purposes only. They should not be relied upon as professional medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions is not permitted.

Some features (BaZi calculator) are available without an account. An account is required for personalized daily fortune, divination history, Karma Points, and Premium features.

4. Free and Premium Access

The Free plan includes:

• BaZi birth chart calculation (no account required)
• Basic daily fortune readings (5 dimensions)
• One I Ching divination per day
• Karma Points and daily check-in
• Destiny profile and share card

The Premium plan unlocks:

• AI-powered deep BaZi personality, career, wealth, and health analysis
• AI-powered deep I Ching hexagram readings
• Unlimited divination sessions
• Priority access to new features

Premium pricing: Daily Pass ($0.99/day) or Annual Plan ($9.99/year). Premium access is tied to your account and is non-transferable.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely via PayPal. The Annual Premium plan provides access for 365 days from the date of purchase. The Daily Pass provides access for 24 hours. We do not offer automatic renewals.

If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, contact us at hi@taofate.cn within 14 days and we will review your case.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy platform content or algorithms
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the platform
• Abuse the AI analysis features (e.g. automated bulk requests)
• Misrepresent AI-generated readings as professional advice to others

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms, illustrations, and materials on Tao Fate — including BaZi calculation engines, hexagram interpretations, zodiac data, and UI designs — are owned by us or licensed for use on this platform. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.

Share cards generated from your destiny profile are intended for personal sharing on social media and may include Tao Fate branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tao Fate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees about the accuracy of destiny readings, fortune predictions, or AI-generated analyses. Traditional Chinese metaphysical systems are cultural and philosophical frameworks, not empirically validated sciences.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tao Fate and its operators shall not be liable for any decisions made based on destiny readings, fortune predictions, or AI analyses provided through the platform. Users acknowledge that all content is for entertainment and cultural exploration purposes.
